At 'Fuori Tempo' the creativity It is an important element, not only in the art of baking with yeast, but also in the aesthetics of the premises. These aspects are dealt with by Virginia Scarsi, wife of Davide Di Bilio and a designer, who is also responsible for Fuoritempo’s communications and brand identity.

"I will make my way through a hundred million stars"
In the run-up to Alba being named the Italian Capital of Contemporary Art 2027, Fuoritempo commissioned the mural “I will make my way through a hundred billion stars” to be painted on the external walls of Canale’s premises in Alba. The work is by Guerrilla Spam, an art collective founded in Florence in 2010, which has since been featured in major national museums and foundations. The mural offers a poetic exploration of the passing of time, by creating a dialogue between the natural element of the sun and an artificial labyrinth of mechanical gears drawn from ancient Arabic manuscripts. An artistic project that aims to celebrate the value of public art, even outside major urban centres.

Antonio Bonanno is an artist from Catania with a refined 19th-century style who worked with us on the interior design. His work is well worth admiring, both for the imagination evident in his compositions and for the meticulous precision of his linework.
Thanks to innovative printing techniques on wallpaper, plexiglass and metal, his ink illustrations have been transformed into veritable backdrops that adorn the walls and counters of our premises, creating an atmosphere of yesteryear, dreamy and somewhat surreal.
The collection of vintage watches
On our premises there is a large collection of vintage watchescovering a time span from the mid-nineteenth century to the early twentieth century.
Virginia Scarsi's passion for collecting these vintage watches started almost as a game, but over time it has expanded and now encompasses a wide variety of styles and models.
Most of these clocks are still in perfect working order (partly thanks to meticulous restoration work), but they are set to different hours, to respect the concept of 'out of time'.
