A total of 96 establishments were awarded with the 'three segments from Pizzerias of Italy Guide 2025. This ranking of the best Italian pizzerias also includes Fuori Tempo by Canale.
Says Davide Di Bilio following the award ceremony: "This reconfirmation is very important to me, because it comes after the opening of a second restaurant in Chieri and a very intense period of work, during which I never stopped experimenting and searching for new ideas, also thanks to the collaboration with friends who are chefs in the haute cuisine sector. Moreover, I would very much like to thank Virginia Scarsi - my life partner and communication manager of Fuori Tempo - for the support, ideas, creativity, enthusiasm and patience she gives me every day. This award is also hers".
Here is the comment of Pina Sozio, editor of the 2025 edition: "So challenging and fascinating is the terrain of pizza that many good chefs have begun to try their hand at it, fascinated both by the magic of the doughs and by the conquered freedom of toppings. The vulgata of the product brings with it, however, the risks of large-scale trivialisation. In our small selection, 750 pizzerias out of over 183,000 in Italy, according to the latest CNA data, it is not enough for us that certain well-known products are used, just as it is not enough for us to make that recipe or use the fashionable technique. We seek out, and reward, those who do a consistent job, those who put personality, ideas, and a long-term vision at the centre, even at the cost of not stroking the trend of the moment and taking a few extra risks".
